About The Author
Brian Makarauk
Brian is the youngest of a large family, born and raised in a mixed farming operation in Alberta, Canada. His farming upbringing spawned his passion for the outdoors and forests at an early age. His educational background includes a Diploma in Forestry and Environment and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He worked as a Forest Technician for several years and was an instructor for a college Forestry Program. His enduring passion for forests and wildlife influenced him to write this series of books about endangered species to help educate our children about the importance of protecting our natural habitats and wildlife species. We all have to play our part in making sure these special places and unique animals not only survive but hopefully flourish. The author agrees that education, public awareness, and sustainable management practices are key to success. Brian now resides on an acreage with his loving wife, Adele.

Our Storyline
They have special super powers in their tails which they use as their weapons and defense mechanisms along with martial arts skills. Their nemesis is the evil Pierre the Poacher, who is always trying to poach and capture endangered species and sell them for money. We must educate our children, as many ways as possible, on the demands affecting our environment and wildlife species so we can all do our part to participate in better management. Remember: “Extinct means gone forever”.
